Voting Early In-Person
Friday, May 5: In-Person Early Voting begins across Virginia; these dates will vary depending on location. (For anyone who requested a ballot prior to this date, they will be mailed this day!)
Saturday, June 17: Early Vote across Virginia ends.
Note that your early voting site is not necessarily your regular voting location!

Absentee Voting
Virginians are eligible to vote absentee by mail instead of voting in-person. You must submit an application to do so, either by clicking below to apply online or by returning a completed form to your local registrar’s office by mail, fax, or email.
You will receive a ballot by mail to complete and return. You may hand-deliver it to your local registrar by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, June 20. Or, if you are returning your ballot by mail, it must be postmarked on or before Election Day, Tuesday, June 20, and received by your registrar by noon on Friday, June 23.
Deadline to request an absentee ballot to be mailed to you: Friday, June 9. Your request must be received by your Registrar by 5:00 p.m., or your online application must be submitted by 11:59 p.m.
Voting on Election Day
Election Day is Tuesday, June 20.
Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
