Progressive PAC Announces Endorsement of Jennifer Carroll Foy for Governor Ahead of Virginia’s June 8th Primary
(April 29, 2021) — Today, Her Bold Move Action endorses Jennifer Carroll Foy in the Virginia governor race. Jordan Zaslow, Executive Director, released the following statement:
“Her Bold Move recognizes trailblazers like Jennifer Carroll Foy and works to shatter glass ceilings across the nation. Jennifer Carroll Foy embodies what leadership can look like in the very best-case scenario. She has demonstrated a commitment to advancing a pro-woman agenda and an ability to serve the needs of all Virginians. Her dedication and perseverance have already improved the lives of people across the state. We are thrilled to offer her our endorsement and can’t wait to see her shatter Virginia’s highest glass ceiling.”
Jennifer Carroll Foy commented: “I am honored to receive the support of the fearless leaders and members of Her Bold Move. I’ve lived the challenges so many girls and women have faced here in Virginia, and they deserve a leader who will stand with the people, and not special interests. Little girls cannot be what they cannot see, and it’s time we prove to everyone who has been left out and left behind that they will have a leader in the governor’s mansion who understands their struggles and will always have their backs.”
Founded in early 2021, Her Bold Move is a progressive political action committee laser-focused on shattering the glass ceilings that still exist in American politics. By providing critical support, including financial aid, message amplification, paid media, mentorship, and more, we work to elect Democratic female candidates to the government seats that have yet to be filled by a woman. Our organization exists to bring about the kind of change that only bold moves can and ensure that women have every opportunity to make those moves on the largest scale possible. We believe that this work will help to give young girls the role models they deserve, young boys the role models they need, and Americans of all ages the kind of leadership they didn’t know was possible.
